Hi, I’m Dawn, the founder of Clear Path Bookkeeping.
I started Clear Path because I saw too many small business owners working incredibly hard without having clear reliable financial information to guide their decisions. When your books are messy or behind, it creates stress, uncertainty, and unnecessary tax risk.
I believe business owners deserve clarity.
My goal is simple: to provide accurate, organized, consistent, and insightful financial reporting so you can understand your numbers, make confident decisions, and grow without surprises at tax time.
Why I Do This Work
Small businesses are the backbone of America’s communities. I’ve seen firsthand how much heart, time, and sacrifice go into running a business. Bookkeeping shouldn’t add confusion to that effort.
I care about helping business owners feel steady and informed, not overwhelmed by spreadsheets. Clean books are more than just records; they are the foundation for smart growth and financial peace of mind.

Behind the Scenes
I earned a degree in Accounting/ Tax Preparation in 2007 from Kaplan University and a degree in elementary and special education in 2011 from Western Governor’s University..
I spent many years in an elementary classroom, then pivoted back to my accounting roots when my husband began his contracting business 10 years ago.
My three children are “grown and flown” and living their best lives. So far, two have given me grandchildren, which is amazing!
In my spare time, I love reading and have a slight obsession with true crime documentaries. We have an 8 year old Golden Retriever named Maggie who is peculiar and particular about everything except food.
